About Allata

Accountable. On all accounts.

We love solving problems for an ever-changing technology landscape. That’s what gets us out of bed each morning. Every client we engage offers a unique problem and holds its own set of challenges. This fluid environment pushes us to adapt and rise to the challenge. Over the years, we’ve found that most business problems share similar traits across even the most divergent industries. The opportunity to apply that knowledge, uncover unexpected results, and find elegant solutions to inefficient problems is our raison d’être.

A better beginning

Allata was formed in 2016 by founder and CEO, Matt Rosen, in the effort to deliver a better product and solve the difficult technology issues our clients faced. Matt’s goal was to assemble a team of strong individuals who worked well independently and even better together.

Allata’s name is derived from the Alata species of bamboo. Just like our team, bamboo is fast-growing, roots in clusters or teams, is ubiquitous and used to solve a lot of different problems. Bamboo is considered good luck in many cultures, and surprisingly is structurally stronger than steel.

Working for a cause

Just as strongly as we care about our clients, we feel that it's important to give back to the community. Each month, we donate 2% of our net income to a different charitable cause or non-profit that we're passionate about.
